Who does it serve and what problem does it solve?
Fills the gap that Notion's own embedding is too bare-bones (no customization, no access control), covering password protection and custom CSS at a cheaper annual price (from $8/month)
Target Audience
Freelancers, small agencies, course creators, and small businesses who want to use Notion pages as a website, documentation, or client portal
How does it charge?
subscriptionFree plan: 1 embed (watermarked, expires); Pro $96/year (about $8/month, 20 embeds); Unbound $324/year (about $28/month, unlimited embeds, includes custom CSS, bulk import, API)
The above describes historical pricing. Check official website for current prices.
Where do users come from?
Last month on Traffic estimate, the top channel was direct visits (about 39%), with organic search about 46% and referrals about 9%; there are 106 search keywords, led by Notion-adjacent terms such as add custom domain to notion, notion embeds, notion cover size, and notion banner size, with brand keywords about 80%. Since April 2025 the website blog has published a dense run of tutorials on Notion embeds, cover sizes, and custom domains; free embeds carry a watermark (removing it is a Pro selling point), and the website also carries LemonSqueezy's affiliate program. The new-user source item is taken directly from calc (Viral, based on free output carrying the brand); the founder did not fill in a channel on Revenue record.
Channel share, initial acquisition, and growth drivers are distinct; correlation does not imply proven causation.
What remains to be verified?
The following are research questions, not established market opportunities.
- What do target users actually pay for? Is there direct user feedback or paid interview evidence?
- Are these historical prices still active today? What are the conversion, retention, and fulfillment costs?
